i still can't decide...

on my damn dress design! its a freak'n nightmare!!! a bloody damn nightmare!

by this time next week....

i'll be a married women! holy hell!
well maybe if the dress ever gets done. it a good thing the blood of a tailor is good luck because the inside of the dress has quite a bit of it. hopefully enough to counteract any other bad luck. heres the latest photos:

the other sheath, which i'll use to build the purple silk over. i had to construct the dress as a strapless bodice, since i plan on dancing and jumping all around at the reception. and i'd like to leave my tits inside of the dress! but building a dress in this manner is a lot of construction, boning, bra cups, under wire, hurray! anyway its all coming togetherheres the wedding site, thats corey showing where we'll be.
now if i just knew how much food to buy for the reception.....

two weeks and counting

here's all the stuff i've been working on for the past few months:
the guest book


the fabric
the veil, which does have crystals on it
ring pillow and the rings (which we bought)
flower girl pail
and one of my favorites, the dried flowers people will throw and the program display.
the dress is still working, but starting to really come together. i decided not to try the felting and just work on getting the dress done. two weeks and counting!

am i crazy

this weekend was my last art show and i got to thinking about how cool it would be to try and nuno felt the dress. nuno felting is when the felt binds itself to a piece of fabric and wrinkles and crinkles it and gives it all kind of cool texture. we'll see if it happens, since we are down to almost two weeks and the dress is not done!

1 month to go

we are down to one month and heres the lasted:
i've been working on the dress all weekend. it's being a bit of a pain, but once it gets done it will be great!

no one panic, the wedding still on! though you might be wondering as no new update. not a lot going on, just dropping off deposits, getting guest list together... not very news worthy.
i did get both my veil (which needs some major work) and the fabric for the dress.. yay!
so, april is when i'll get started on that!
